MARCO TABACMAN
Chicago-based singer Marco Tabacman brings the soul of Argentine tango to contemporary audiences with a voice of warmth, elegance, and emotional gravity. Influenced by the timeless artistry of tango legends Rubén Juárez, Adriana Varela, and Roberto Goyeneche, Tabacman interprets tango with a deep sense of story and expression, balancing reverence for the classics with a contemporary approach.
Born in the US, raised in Argentina with a rich choral tradition, he began singing at age ten and later performed with acclaimed vocal ensembles including Angelica Cantanti under Philip Brown, and the University Singers with Kathy Romey and Matthew Mehaffey. As the featured vocalist with both the Charles Gorczynski Tango Ensemble and Orquesta Típica Kingfield (a cornerstone of the Twin Cities Tango Collective), Tabacman has become a leading voice in the Midwest’s growing tango scene. His performances have taken him to stages including Carnegie Hall in New York, The Ordway in St. Paul, and headlining appearances at the Minnesota Tango Music Festival in 2024 and 2025.
HAVANA QUARTET
Founded in 2017, the Havana Quartet has established itself as a leading ensemble in classical and contemporary music, proudly representing the richness and diversity of Cuban culture.
The quartet is composed of Hansel Pérez Carrero (director, violin), Ana Caridad Frómeta (violin), Amaya Fuentes Sarria (viola), and Denise Hernández Rabeiro (cello), all talented musicians and graduates of the University of the Arts in Havana.
Beyond their work within the quartet, its members have performed with renowned Cuban orchestras such as the Havana Chamber Orchestra, the Liceo de La Habana Orchestra, and Música Eterna, contributing to their country’s vibrant musical landscape.
CARO BERNARDINI TRIO
Born and raised in Buenos Aires in a musical family, Caro has been performing Argentine music since childhood.
After spending half her life in the United States, Caro began blending the sounds of her homeland with other genres and styles that she discovered along the way.
Caro’s music carries the imprint of the many places, people, and traditions that have shaped her: A unique voice that feels both rooted and refreshingly unique within Argentine tango and folklore.
